Paloma & Maximiliano, native from Santiago – Chile, has been dancing together for 25 years. Since they were young, they share the passion for Argentine Tango as a heritage from their parents. They were formed in Chile and Buenos Aires, with many argentine masters.
Based in Miami – Florida, USA, they have been touring through South, North America and part of Europe, teaching and performing in uncountable Casinos, Convention Centers, Hotels and TV shows. Invited to teach and perform in the biggest and the most renown Tango Festivals across US. They won the 2nd place in 2007 in the Worldwide Tango Championship in Buenos Aires and the 1st place in 2008 in the Trex Games TAFISA worldwide competition in South Korea.
They define their style as a salon tango, developing their style like a permanent laboratory, experimenting the movement of the body from the simplicity of the life, convinced that the Tango dance is for everybody. It doesn't matter the age, the background or if you never danced before. Their teaching, it’s characterized as energetic, didactic and detailed. Focused on promote the argentine Tango and their culture around the world inspiring their students from the connection, the joy through the embrace, the improvisation between the couples and the love for the social dance.

George Garcia
Master of Ceremony, Honolulu.
George Garcia has been teaching and performing dance for more than thirty years, teaching a variety of dances.
For the past twelve years, he has devoted his passion exclusively to the art of the Argentine Tango. George has studied with the tango world's finest master teachers.
He has taught and performed at various Tango festivals in the USA, and was a featured performer in the 2006 and 2007 Tango Libertad Show in Tokyo, Japan, where he served as a judge of the World Tango Festival competitions. George is known for his clear and precise teaching.
He stars with Christy Coté in Dance Vision USA’s 24-volume Ultimate Argentine Tango Instructional DVD Series. ( YouTube).
He is a DVIDA National Examiner. George’s instruction maintains the true essences of Argentine Tango as it is danced and performed in Buenos Aires, and is well known for his elegance of style and poise.
George is the founder of IslaTango and Hawaii's Argentine Tango community.
In Honolulu, he presented his innovative Argentine Tango Boot Camps, ran weekly classes, gives workshops, private lessons and organized workshops with visiting celebrity instructors.
He still performs at various productions and is the host and DJ of the IslaTango Milongas, Practicas and other special events. George has organized tango festivals and marathons and is proud to continue developing the tango community of Hawaii.
Maestro
Lisette Perelle
Dancing since the age of 5, Lisette began her training in gymnastics. From there her education continued to Hula, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Ballroom, Argentine Tango and Theater. She graduated from Northeastern Universitywith a BA in Speech Communications concentrating in Television and Film production with a Minor in Theater. She has worked in the Film industry for over 17 years and won Canada's Lotus award for 'Producer of the Best PSA Commercial' in 1996.
Lisette trained in Argentine tango with Julian "Miller" Ramil, Pampa and Valeria Cortes, Fabian Salas and Carolina del Rivera, Mariana Flores and Eduardo Cappussi, Julio Balmeceda and Corina de la Rosa, Mariano "Chicho" Frumboli, Mariana Dragone, Sabastian Arce and Mariana Montes, Carlos Gavito, El Flaco Dany Garcia, Omar Vega, Daniel Juarez and Alejandra Armenti and many others. She has spent extensive time in Buenos Aires training and teaching as well.
Performance and Choreography
She was a member of the Argentine performance company Ballet Pampa Argentina under the direction of Pampa Cortes for 2 years. She starred in 3 tango film shorts, "Burn", "Tango in the Park" and "Tango Fatal".
She has performed with tango orchestras and musical ensembles including: Alfredo Caceres, Montango, Tango Nero, Trio Garufa, Ramiro Boero & Las Almas, Scott O'Day Duo, Alexander Ziegler Orchestra, Orchestra Tipica Domo and others.
She has also performed on television for KQED San Francisco and Univision San Francisco along with leading roles in stage shows of “Love Junkies” and "Tango Fatal" under the direction of Jorge Torres as well as countless stage and private events.
She danced and performed with the Northeastern Dance Theater Company from 1986-1988, where she did Choreography under the direction of Sarah Umberger. She was very involved in theater since childhood where she not only acted, sang and danced, but also choreographed numbers for the musicals, "Ghetto” , "Working" and "Blood Tango". She has since done choreography for a music video for the singer Jenifer Taylor, as well as many weddings and performances.
Most recently she created and taught tango choreography to the pincipals in the American Conservatory Theater's production of Noel Coward's "Private Lives" to critical acclaim.

Lisette has taught (and performed) with many well known dancers, such as:
Pampa Cortes, Julian Ramil, Jorge Torres, Roberto Reis, Facundo Pasadas, Eduardo Saucedo, Diego Lanau,Count Glover, Ramada Salieri, Alexander Moncada, Leonardo Pankow, Alexander Sosa, Rodolfo Saile and Martin Almiron.
She has taught tango throughout the San Francisco Bay Area including San Francisco, Oakland, Emeryville, Berkeley, Fremont, Castro Valley, San Rafael, and Healdsburg. Other locations within California include Monterey, Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, Mendocino, Ft. Bragg and Ukiah. Outside of California she has taught in Bozeman and Helena, Montana, Palm Beach, Florida, Honolulu, Hawaii, The Big Island of Hawaii and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Lisette has trained US Argentine Tango Champions, and was a judge for the 2019 April Follies and the 2023 TangoPlus Tango Dance Championships in Los Angeles.
Presently, she is teaching locally in the Bay Area and Hosts the popular Milonga Rubia. She often organizes for traveling Argentine teachers that come to the San Francisco Bay Area. Lisette still dabbles with her own documentary on tango. She is an elegant dancer and patient teacher who concentrates on the techniques necessary for smooth, powerful and beautiful dancing. She works with the whole body focusing on connection, embrace, alignment, lines and beautifying steps.
